S249 – 19-32mm Heavy-Duty Feedwheel Steel Strapping Tensioner

The S249 Feedwheel Steel Strapping Tensioner is a heavy-duty manual strapping tool engineered for securing 19mm to 32mm mild steel strapping up to 0.9mm thick. Designed with a beak nose, it allows operators to tension the strapping directly onto the surface of the strapped object, achieving maximum tension and a snug fit. This makes it ideal for looping applications around circular objects ( drums, poles etc), where the strapping is ‘looped’ around the object, secured with a seal and then tensioned by ratcheting the handle back and forth, driving the feedwheel to pull the loop tight.

The feedwheel mechanism provides a stronger grip and higher tensioning force compared to rack-type tensioners, making the S249 perfect for bundling and securing flat or circular items, including drums, piping, pallets, and crates.
